Xcel Strategies Inc. is a mentoring network that was founded in Savannah, GA in 2012 to care for young people between 15-25 years of age. Xcel exists to FUEL YOUNG PEOPLE WITH PURPOSE and passion to reach the fullness of their potential through a network of wise, seasoned, and trained mentors.

I was fortunate as a young man to have my current father adopt me and become my mentor. He provided guidance and opportunities for me that I would not have had otherwise.

Our hope is that you will be inspired to play a role in helping build a mentoring network around young people in our communities who might be struggling, like I was.

Xcel exists to FUEL YOUNG PEOPLE WITH PURPOSE!

We are a 501c3 mentoring young people in Life Skills, Job Skills and Trade Skills.

We mentor young people through our community partnerships with schools and organizations. At these partnership locations we mentor in group settings in buildings and classrooms for Life Skills and Job Skills, and outside with our Mobile Training Units for Trade Skills.

Mentoring Strategy

OVER SEVENTY PERCENT of adults in our prison system come from homes without full or partial parental oversight. A major problem for young people nationwide is the loss of a parent due to abuse, addiction, death, separation, or incarceration. In most cases, these young people are left without direction, without purpose and they don’t have a network to lean on or mentors to follow. This is why Xcel exists.

Goal Setting, Time Management, Relationships, Financial Stewardship, Health & Fitness and Relational Intelligence

Job Placement

Apprenticeships, Internships, Part Time Employment, Full Time Employment and Seasonal Employment

Trade Strategy

We believe that jobs build self confidence that allow young people to build their dreams upon. Once young people completes our Fueled With Purpose Training, they earn opportunities for job interviews and ultimately entry level jobs. Success at entry level jobs lead to opportunities for support level jobs. Trade jobs are in high demand and we encourage our young people to know that they can succeed, make good money and take care of their families with these jobs.
